Business Technology Integrators (BTI) in Upper Marlboro Maryland, is seeking Jr Network Engineers for positions in Nebraska, Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Japan & South Korea
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate base area network (BAN) and local area network (LAN) infrastructures, systems and subsystems.
- Functions as technical specialist for LAN activities, such as, heatmap generation and analysis, system scaling and distribution, wireless controller configuration, and access point placement.
- Perform maintenance of network devices to ensure correct operation with minimal interruption.
- Implement network security measures and continuous optimization.
- Research and recommend data network communications hardware and software.
- Establishes and maintains data network performance baselines and troubleshoots network issues.
- Support lead network engineer in design, documentation and delivery of BAN network system, subsystems and end-user integration.
- Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.
- Executes technical investigations of network system. Consolidates design efforts on major projects.
Requirements:
US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
4-6 years’ experience
Certification: CCNA
Highly Desired:
Advance Degree in Related Field or Equivalent Experience or Equivalent Combination of Training, Certifications, Work and or Military experience
