Logistics Manager
Position Overview
Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to provide direct oversight of all warehouse operations, asset management, inventory controls, shipping and receiving activities, Bill of Materials (BOM) development, and equipment lifecycle management in support of the networkMaryland™ program. This individual will manage a dedicated, secure, climate-controlled warehouse facility and ensure that all network equipment, materials, and spare parts are available to support uninterrupted networkMaryland™ operations and rapid field deployment readiness. This position is On-Site in Greater Annapolis/Crownsville MD.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, inspection, and secure storage of all networkMaryland™ equipment and materials
- Maintain real-time inventory records for all FA1 assets within ServiceNow
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile all discrepancies in compliance with State requirements
- Develop detailed, accurate Bills of Materials for all network projects and maintenance efforts within five (5) business days of scope finalization
- Implement and enforce standardized labeling, barcoding, asset tagging, and chain-of-custody procedures
- Coordinate all equipment pickups and deliveries with contractors, distributors, DoIT staff, and field teams
- Manage equipment returns, vendor RMA processes, and compliant disposal of obsolete assets
- Produce all required logistics deliverables including Monthly Inventory Reports, Quarterly Audit Reports, and Equipment Disposition Reports
Commitment Level: Full-time dedicated resource available to support urgent equipment deployments and after-hours field dispatch requirements
Required Qualifications
- ✅ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a directly related discipline — OR equivalent professional experience of five (5) or more years
- ✅ Minimum five (5) years of direct experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, procurement coordination, or inventory control
- ✅ Minimum two (2) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role with direct accountability for team performance and inventory compliance
- ✅ Strong knowledge of logistics operations, State procurement processes, and inventory management systems
- ✅ Experience with serialized asset tracking systems and familiarity with networking equipment types, form factors, and handling requirements
- ✅ Experience supporting field operations and coordinating field dispatch logistics
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Maryland CJIS clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 🌟 Experience managing logistics operations in support of government IT infrastructure programs
- 🌟 Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM platform for asset management and inventory tracking
- 🌟 Experience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for network infrastructure projects
- 🌟 Knowledge of State of Maryland procurement and asset disposal requirements
- 🌟 Experience managing vendor Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes and warranty claims
