Business Technology Integrators (BTI) in Upper Marlboro Maryland, is seeking Jr Wireless Engineers for positions in Nebraska, Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Japan & South Korea


Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate wireless local area network (WLAN) infrastructures, systems and subsystems.
  • Functions as technical specialist for WLAN activities, such as, heatmap generation and analysis, system scaling and distribution, wireless controller configuration, and access point placement.
  •  Perform maintenance of wireless network to ensure correct operation with minimal interruption.
  •  Implement wireless network security measures and continuous optimization.
  •  Research and recommend wireless network communications hardware and software.
  •  Establishes and maintains wireless network performance baselines and troubleshoots network problems.
  •  Support lead wireless engineer in design, documentation and delivery of wireless system, subsystems and end-user integration.
  • Analyzes and resolves program deficiencies.
  • Executes technical investigations of wireless network.
  •  Consolidates design efforts on major projects.

Requirements:
US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
4-6 years’ experience
Certification: CCNA

Highly Desired:
Advance Degree in Related Field or Equivalent Experience or Equivalent Combination of Training, Certifications, Work and or Military experience
