ServiceNow Developers ( Active or eligible for a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance)
Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with more than 25 years of experience delivering innovative and reliable IT and engineering solutions to the Federal Government. BTI supports mission-critical programs across defense and civilian agencies, with core expertise in cybersecurity, program management, enterprise IT, and technical oversight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as technical and architectural leads, aligning platform capabilities with SWRMC's functional
requirements.
Perform hands-on development, scripting, and configuration on the platform leveraging Flow Designer,
REST/SOAP Web Services, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SSO, and Mid-Servers.
Translate business needs into technical designs, architectural documentation, and agile user stories.
Configure core ITSM modules and build custom application workflows on the App Engine.
Map, migrate, validate, and convert legacy data tables and logic from SWRMC's legacy web portal (Oracle
APEX) to the new platform's unified schema.
Government Progress Reporting: Conduct regular progress checks in accordance with the project's Plan
of Action and Milestones (POAM) and report development, integration, and migration progress directly to
government leads.
Advise SWRMC stakeholders on leveraging out-of-the-box (OOTB) configurations versus customizations
to protect platform upgradeability.
Guide and train SWRMC’s future system administrators throughout the lifecycle of the engagement,
delivering structured hands-on knowledge transfer and workshops to eliminate the internal staff knowledge
deficit.
Architect and integrate advanced platform capabilities, including AI offerings, search configurations, and
automated processing tools.
Lead agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
Provide process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis for field service, facilities, and support
workflows during stakeholder workshops.
Ensure all code, configurations, and deliverables adhere to platform development best practices, conducting
peer reviews to maintain high quality.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on configuring, developing,
and implementing solutions on the enterprise platform.
Extensive scripting, web development, and API integration experience (including XML, HTML,
JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, SAML).
Demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and provide thought leadership to stakeholders in solving
complex business process or technical problems.
Experience creating complex technical architectures comprising multiple integrated enterprise components.
Strong understanding of federal data compliance and security standards, including PII and PHI protection.
Knowledge of Field Service processes (e.g., work order management, auto-assignment, territory
management, asset management, preventative maintenance).
Active or eligible for a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance, physical base access eligibility for Naval
Base San Diego, and an approved SAAR-N on file.
Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and the ability to work cohesively in a military
environment.
